The Awards dinner will be preceded by a CEE Energy Summit & Discussion Panel. The Summit will focus on a significant area related to the CEE Energy Industry.
Leading producers, suppliers and distributors from the CEE region will be recognized and distinguished from their peers and competitors. Entries are judged by an independent panel of energy professionals, who will vote on 19 Awards categories.
In a challenging geopolitical environment, the countries of Central and Eastern Europe are in a strategic position to influence Europe's energy future. With dramatic price disruptions, emerging competitors and a growing demand for energy, CEE's energy sector must address issues of independence of supply, grid and network alliances, and strategic interdependence.
In addition to awarding top companies in the sector, such as producers and distributors, the 3rd annual CEE Energy Awards recognizes top energy traders and service providers like engineering firms, law firms, and investment bankers.
The CEE Energy Awards brings together traditional, conventional energy companies with "new" and renewable energy players.
The Awards represent a cross-sector, ranging from coal producers, oil&gas explorers and refiners, wind and renewables developers, and grid and network operators. The Awards also recognize new types of competitors, particularly energy traders, and other "asset-light" companies, and the full range of service providers - operational and professional.
The CEE Energy Awards will be held on June 9, 2016 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Warsaw.
